This article shows you how to use Microsoft Stream to view videos and channels by browsing, searching, and filtering.


Before continuing with this tutorial, you must be signed in to Microsoft Stream. For information on how to sign up, see this article.


You can search all the content on the site from the top bar by typing a word of interest next to the magnifying glass. Channels and videos that contain metadata with the specified word will be displayed (as shown below). You can also sort the result by one of the available items.

Once you find a video you were looking for, depending on privacy settings, you can view the video, add it to a channel, add it to watch list, etc.


Browse and filter

You can also start your search by pressing Browse on the top bar. All the channels and videos will be displayed. You can then specify a word by which you want to search all the videos and channels.
